Tank / Frontliner

The most durable hero in the roster — highest base HP and Armor, plus Block Chance and HP Regen passives for sustained survival. Damage is low by default; the Knight compensates by staying alive long enough for cooldown skills to cycle.

Affix priorities

  1. Max HP — deepens the HP lead over other heroes
  2. Armor — stacks directly with the passive Armor Enhancement tree
  3. Block Chance — each blocked hit is zero damage
  4. Cooldown Reduction — lets Sacred Blade and Unyielding Will fire more often
  5. Physical Damage % — main damage lever since base attack is modest

Rune priorities

  • All Hero Armor % — multiplies already high base Armor
  • All Hero Attack Damage — compensates for low base attack
  • All Hero Attack Speed — helps physical damage keep pace in Torment

Tips

  • Prioritize Aegis Field + Unyielding Will for endgame survivability; both need CDR to cycle reliably.
  • HP Per Kill passive lets the Knight self-heal through dense monster waves — useful for offline stage choice.
  • Retribution Strike scales with total HP, making bulk stacking doubly useful on this hero.
